Balsamic and Honey Marinade

Bursting With Flavor Balsamic and Honey Marinade

Packed with flavor this balsamic and honey marinade will take your backyard bbq to a whole new flavor level. New York steaks soak up the honey, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar which help create a caramelized char.

Rich and flavorful balsamic vinegar add a sweet, bold taste that pairs perfectly with flank steak, beef tenderloin and skirt steak. Fresh garlic bring the balance to all that sweet flavor, who doesn’t love garlic and beef together? Besides the sweet flavors, this marinade has dried oregano and basil. Two herbs known for their bold flavors and Mediterranean roots. Dried oregano is robust, slightly bitter and has a hint of peppery bite. Basil and its sweet anise flavor with a hint of mint delivers that fresh bite for this marinade.

Bringing It Together

This balsamic honey marinade can be made ahead making your food prep time quick and easy. Stored in the refrigerator this marinade can easily last for up to 4 days. Take your skewered vegetables or thick sliced vegetables and marinade them for 4 hours before grilling. Take a pork tenderloin and allow it to marinate overnight to develop a deep dark mahogany color before cooking.
